That wasn't just our afternoon high—that was also our overnight low. The thermometer basically refused to drop. That's some serious Gulf moisture riding this warm front. In the next 24 hours. Here's the situation across Alabama today. Central Alabama climbs to 81 degrees this afternoon under partly sunny skies. That puts us a solid 56 degrees above normal for early March.
