À propos de ce contenu audio
I'm joined by Matt Hill, former Parachute Regiment officer, martial artist, and expedition leader, to explore the deeper psychological, physical, and spiritual dimensions of modern masculinity in a world increasingly shaped by comfort, distraction, and simulation.
Moving beyond surface-level ideas of adventure or self-improvement, we look at what happens when men are no longer regularly tested by real hardship—and how this affects resilience, identity, and meaning.
The conversation touches on everything from jungle expeditions and martial arts training to stress, fear, and embodied awareness. We question whether a life designed around convenience and avoidance of discomfort is quietly weakening something essential in men, and what role voluntary challenge, discipline, and faith might play in restoring it.
