My prayer for you:

Dear Lord, you see the mom reading this.

You see the day she is having. You see her at this very moment.

I pray that whatever situation feels messy or unattainable right now, you will strengthen her belief that you are making something beautiful out of it. Give her a crown of beauty from ashes, like Isaiah 61:3 says you will.

When she feels frustrated and despair over a situation, remind her that you have not left her, that the promise still stands, and that you are fighting on her behalf.

Let her praise you even when praise doesn’t make sense to anyone else.

Be with her family this week. Show them favor. Give them a house of peace and laughter. Let them grow in their desire to know you better.

Amen
