Bob Freyer is one of Pittsburgh's most significant active visual artists. He has a long history of repping the city with his complex work that taps into his background in hip hop/graffiti, skateboarding and comics. He has sold art to some of the cultures finest including legends like KRS and Rakim. While we don't put too much stock into any awards it is pretty cool that he has won the Pgh City Paper's 'best visual artist' award 2 of the last 3 years. We had a ton of common ground to cover and talk for over two hours about art and his process, conspiracy theories, sopranos and breaking bad, star wars, and a lot more. We shouted:
