Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. A Canadian cold front sliced through overnight. and it's rewriting the weather map as we speak. Eastern Montana woke up to winter. Western Montana? Still clinging to something closer to spring. In the next 24 hours. We're sitting at 35 degrees right now under clear skies. That's actually our overnight low too. The front stalled in central Montana, creating a temperature wall you could almost see if you drove across the state. Out east, the cold is winning. Highs only reach 46 degrees with a north wind at 8 to 14 miles an hour. That wind makes it feel colder than the number suggests. Tonight? A sharp drop to 22 degrees. Central Montana sits in the battle zone. Highs struggle to 33 degrees. Around 8 A.M., wind chills will feel like 15 degrees. Cover up before you head out. Tonight brings a hard freeze at 17 degrees. Western Montana dodged the worst of it. Sunny skies push you to 52 degrees with light winds. Tonight, clouds roll in as temperatures ease to 28 degrees. Now for the wind alerts. A High Wind Warning runs until 9 A.M. For the Melville Foothills and Northern Sweet Grass. Gusts to 60 miles an hour. A Wind Advisory covers the Livingston Area and Beartooth Foothills until 9 A.M. If you're on I-90 between Livingston and Big Timber, brace for crosswinds. Southwest Phillips County has a Winter Storm Warning until 11 A.M. Three to five inches of snow expected. Blaine County sits under a Winter Weather Advisory until 11 A.M. With one to three inches. Tomorrow flips the script. High pressure builds in. Temperatures surge into the mid-50s statewide. Here's your week ahead. Sunday through Wednesday brings a spring preview. Highs climb into the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday. No drama. Just mild, sunny conditions. Our next system arrives Wednesday night with rain and mountain snow. In Sunrise today is at 7, 04 A.M. Sunset at 6:06 P.M. We're gaining over three minutes of daylight daily. Spring equinox is 20 days out. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Stay safe, stay prepared. and enjoy the day.
