On Monday, March 22, 1999, a naked, bloodied woman wearing a padlocked collar with a six-foot chain attached came running out of a trailer park in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, screaming bloody murder. It was David Parker Ray’s first (and last) mistake as the now infamous Toy-Box Killer.
