First and foremost John is a husband, father and coach. He is also a business owner in NW Montana. Along with his wife, he owns and operates the Women's Firearm Academy and Battle Angels Boxing. His previous experience with the LAPD sets his firearm academy apart. Currently they are expanding their work to include men and families training together, building awareness, avoidance, and self defense as a team under their newest venture, The Vigilant Family. Additionally, John is helping to bring youth boxing back to NW Montana through the area's only dedicated USA Boxing program for kids, focused not just on boxing, but on teaching life skills that extend well beyond the ring.
