Melbourne, December 1995. Tony Romano and his girlfriend knocked off work, cracked a couple of beers, and headed into King Street. It should’ve been an ordinary Friday night. Then Tony noticed the bloke with the dark rings under his eyes. At the time, he was just another face in the crowded Sports Bar. He wouldn’t stay that way.
