 I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. I struggle with suicidal ideations. It causes me to isolate myself from friends and prevents me from enjoying life. Medication, talk therapy, CBT, and DBT hasn’t seemed to help me but being present has. These modalities have either made me ruminate more or aided to being emotionally numb, while living life recklessly not caring if I live or die. You are in control of your mind, you just need to learn how to be in control.
