The Lusiads (Os Lusíadas) is a remarkable epic poem penned in the 16th century by the esteemed Luis Vaz de Camões. This captivating work narrates the epic saga of the Portuguese discoveries during the 15th and 16th centuries, with a special focus on Vasco da Gamas historic voyage to India.
