From the same world as Snow, Rosie, and Jabber comes a new tale that takes place in the Kingdom of Amethyst, where dragon guardians of nature, like Nasrin-Uma, are just as real as fae guardians, like Faltorr. Sometimes ordinary people are called upon to right a wrong that was done before anyone in the village of Hydrakon could remember, except the fae. When the Dragon Nasrin-Uma is taken prisoner by a strange, possessed, apple tree, the fae oracle the Mother of All Seasons sends Faltorr to enlist the help of young childhood friends Zvory and Mavin to mount a rescue. Though Zvory is a fisherman and Mavin is extremely well read, they both long for more. This adventure will lead them to more than they ever dreamed possible. Together, the fae and the two friends must solve the mystery of the sinister tree, lest the captive dragon means doom for their kingdom.
