Description
Can I be honest with you? A wife and husband face a defining moment in their relationship in this emotional, sweet, and surprising confessional about love, monogamy, and the secrets we share.
When Kristi Coulter’s husband proposed, she didn’t admit her fears. When they exchanged vows, she didn’t reveal that she was terrified that marriage would ruin her life. During fifteen years of genuinely happy marriage, she never said a word about another man in her life. Then she comes clean - about all of it - and discovers a new world.
Kristi Coulter’s Yes, And is part of The One, a collection of seven singularly true love stories of friendship, companionship, marriage, and moving on. Each piece can be read or listened to in a single sitting, with or without company.

Not for me.
I almost didnt finish this... I'm just not okay with justifying cheating in your marriage.

Had never heard of a “lanky” boy before!
Interesting story of a desire never quenched. I had never heard the term “lanky boy” before, but completely understood the type based on the author’s description, which intrigued me to keep listening. I could feel her frustration. I loved the communication between the couple. So many people don’t communicate, and hide their feelings, which can have terrible consequences on the psyche and health. Author’s cadence isn’t very smooth, but it’s hard to read your own work aloud so I applaud her effort and hope she has more (I haven’t looked yet)!

Entertaining and some great lines.
Entertaining, keeps you guessing and some great lines that you'll want to write down. And just long enough!

Monogamish
Coulter is a gifted narrator, but the marriage she depicts is not the type of relationship I’d ever want. Either her husband is a saint, also has a piece (or pieces) on the side, or gets something out of this arrangement I’m not seeing. 20+ years of marriage... yes, and they get to make up their own rules.

2 stars
Yes, And by Kristi Coulter takes an honest look at the author's marriage. I appreciate that, but simply didn't like it. If you're going to have an on/off (emotional) affair and lie/downplay it for decades, you're wrong. Realizing monogamy isn't for you is one thing, acting on it without discussing it with your spouse is another.
I also believe she was dehydrated as it sounded like her tongue was sticking in her mouth when she talked, which I thoroughly hated listening to.

Not my idea of a fun time
I apologize for leaving a less than favorable review, but the author should not have narrated. Her voice squawked in an uneven pitch as if it needed oil, something to smooth the rough edges, and her exploration of marriage and monogamy lacked depth. Perhaps if a more mellifluous voice had narrated and this was chapter 1, i.e. an intro to what would have gained dimension and depth it would’ve been better.

I want my life back!
This story was dull, boring, and horrible. I want the hour I listen to this back but I know that will never possible. I hope to never hear another terrible book, short story, novel, or article by this author again!!!!!

Quick & easy listen
I decided to listen while I was out grabbing something to eat & running errands. It made for a good, easy listen with just enough details.
