Many of us ache for relationship with God, yet feel distant and disconnected from him. As if he's more of an idea we believe in our head than a person we relate to. But God has a name: Yahweh. This one simple idea has the potential to radically alter how you relate to God, not as a doctrine, but as a relational being who responds to you in an elastic, back-and-forth way.

A clear and compelling discussion of how the church can better reach, support and champion black congregation members. From the UK church’s complicity in the transatlantic slave trade to the whitewashing of Christianity throughout history, the church has a lot to answer for when it comes to race relations. Christianity has been dubbed the white man’s religion, yet the Bible speaks of an impartial God and shows us a diverse body of believers. It’s time for the church to start talking about race.

Description
For all the fullness of God available to his daughters, we often feel limited by two defining insecurities: "I am too much," and "I am not enough."
Coauthors and best friends Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan have felt the same, until one essential question turned the tables on it all: If God is wild and free and he created women, what does this mean for us today?
Wild and Free is in equal parts an anthem and an invitation to find freedom from the cultural captivity that holds us back, and freedom to step into the wild and holy call of God in our lives. With fresh biblical insight tracing all the way back to Eve and a treasury of practical application, Jess and Hayley reveal how women today can walk in the true liberty we already have in Jesus.

Every women needs to read!!
This book is one that I have been highly recommending to every women I know! Hayley and Jess do an amazing job show how we at any age can still be tied down by things in our own lives that keep us from being Wild and Free in the Lord. They also do and amazing job refining the words wild and free! This is definitely a book that I will read again!

I want to scream freedom for the captives!
I read this book for a book club; it was chosen by a friend and her recommendation to me was that it mirrored the cry of her heart for women and she felt like mine as well. This is exactly what I've felt the Holy Spirt has been singing over me in the past year-to be free from the hindrances of this world to love and serve Jesus with fierce abandon! I wish I could say these words of life to every women I know and I say them often, to my friends, mother, sisters, and myself.

A must read!!
A group of ladies from my church read and had summer book club this year. Loved the insights of the authors of what it means to live Wild and Free. I read the book and then listened to it on audible. The scripture referenced were perfectly matched as to which the authors were conveying.
