Description

Charming tale well performed
Really enjoyed this tale. Took a bit of remembering all the characters but well acted and a classic Christie tale with twists and charming main characters

Wundervolle Christie Geschichte gut gespielt
Dieses Hörbuch wird eines meiner Favoriten. Ich bevorzuge sonst Bücher aus den Hauptreihen Marple/Poirot, aber dieses um Bobby und Frankie ist toll geschrieben, man rätselt und stolpert mit ihnen durch die Ereignisse und erfährt auch vergleichsweise viel von ihnen. Zudem liest Emilia Fox lebendig und spannend.

An Agatha Christie favorite
The narrator is amazing, and sound quality is good. It may be the best narration I've ever heard, sharing first place with the other books narrated by Emilia Fox. She makes the main characters a pleasure to listen to, and at no point did I get tired of their voices.
The story is good, also easily one of my favorite Christie ones with how deep the plot is and how likeable the main characters become after by the end. There is nobody that is "all-knowing" (like poirot sometimes...) but the mistakes the characters make all seem quite reasonable. What some people might not like is how *unlikely* the plot is, with many lucky coincidences in favor or against the protagonists, but I'm very willing to look over that with how well it brings the story forward.
The ending is also great - all lose ends are tied up and it doesn't leave you wondering about why details happened how they did.
