Scattered and trapped across an exploding chessboard, individual groups of desperate men wandered. Men who were simply attempting to survive in a world of carnage that had gone totally insane. Even an insignificant farmhouse could be the difference between life and death. And there we were, a handful of GIs wandering along in the storm of war. Stumbling through frozen wilderness. Trapped in the Ardennes, frozen and desperately hunting for salvation. Searching while German SS divisions advanced through that same icy mist and swirling snow. This was “The Battle Of The Bulge.”
