Our bodies benefit greatly from the consumption of water, but we must pick up the glass or cup and drink the contents to benefit from it. The same is true of living water. We must become acquainted with the giver of living water and accept his gift of life drinking deeply of him. The water he gives never goes stagnant. It’s always moving, alive, sustaining life. In his own words he tells us, “But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” (John 4:14).
