A love written in history . . .
1936. While studying in Cambridge, aspiring poet Robert catches the attention of aristocrat Lady Stella Aldrich.
As the years pass, they fall deeper in love. Robert even writes many poems about his muse and love.
But the looming war soon sees Robert join the RAF. Is their love strong enough to survive a battlefield?
Now. Cassie Aldrich takes on the role of organising the annual August Bank Holiday festival at Hartsford Hall. While looking through old photographs for inspiration, she sees an image of Stella Aldrich standing in the Hall wearing an emerald dress, blowing a kiss to the cameraman.
When Aidan Edwards arrives at Hartsford to uncover the life of his great-great-uncle, Rob, he requests Cassie's help to determine what happened to him. They soon discover secrets hinting at a forbidden love . . .
But will the memories of the past change their future?
The next timeslip adventure for fans of Diana Gabaldon, Susanna Kearsley, Irina Shapiro, Callie Langridge, Kate Ryder and Marie Laval.
