À propos de ce contenu audio
Here you have a visitors’ guide to Wakefield and the Five Towns. A region of West Yorkshire which has much to offer the visitor whether that be history, tradition, culture, nature, sport or some weird stuff.
There’s more to see and do than you may be thinking in and around Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Normanton, Featherstone and Knottingley.
I was born in Yorkshire and have lived here most of my life. It is a beautiful county and we do not call it God’s Own County for nothing….!
As a native Yorkshireman, I know the Wakefield area (and Yorkshire as a whole) very well.
Being that “natural born Yorkshireman” I thought I’d put together some books on everything the county has to offer the visitor based on my local knowledge. This is first of them with more planned.
Some of the things to see and do inside this book include:
- The National Coal Mining Museum
- Yorkshire Sculpture Park
- Sandal Castle
- Pontefract Castle
- Hepworth Gallery
- Country Parks
- Nature Reserves
- The Rhubarb Triangle
- And more…..
Why not visit and see for yourself?
