According to the author, all armies other than the US one are bad. And whitin the United States military , the only place where brave, intelligent, and gifted soldiers are found is among Fighter Pilots—everyone else in the Army would love to be a fighter pilote but is too dumb or incapable to be one of them.


If you can stand the author's very patriotic and pretentious writing style, you will still enjoy a book full of exciting narrative when he was fighting in Iraq and descriptions of how wild weasel work.
