I liked it. Read it in one sitting. I like the fact that the main character doesn't give up her traits once romance is involved, the plot is quite OK, the other characters are well written and the drama is juicy. Ouside some weird editing issues at the beginning, the narator portraits well the voice of the main character. Would recommend.

As a YA fantasy reader I thought the overall story was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. At first I really enjoyed the narrator but I kept being pulled out of the story by some of choices she made regarding her tone. I felt her voice was always very monotonous even in the big action or emotional moments. It didn’t help with relating to the main character.
