I love the series......but

I have the same complaint as the cyborg series. I have listened to the first 3 books in the series and its following the same pattern, even all the way down to the short human females (again). Don't get me wrong the series is still good, great plot line, funny characters. I just need more variety. The first 3 books are very similar..... New species huge dangerous male falls for a tiny little fragile human female, the female is captured / attacked by fanatic hate groups and the NSO goes a retrieve the female mates, the end. I think I might die of shock if there was a tall human woman in the series, or mixed breeding or a new point of view of the plot line. I am going to continue with the series, they are entertaining, I hope some new stuff comes along in the series....if not I will be disappointed. I don't want to hear the same story 9 times in a row.

5 Valiant Stars

I always forget how much I like Valiant until I re read his book. He is just so exotic.
We all need a man who would lay down their life for you. His whole reason to live became Tammy. And no one was more surprised over that than Valiant.

He wanted a mate, but he never expected it to be a human. Tammy wasn't looking for someone but she was quiet literally shocked by Valiant.
These two really do complement each other, she isn't afraid to stand up to him when he is being to much maleness. And he just wants to make her happy.

I loved this installment of the series and can’t wait to continue it.

Vanessa does a great job with each character, loveeeed this audio so much.

Sooo good! MINE!!!

I really like the New Species series... however not all the books are on the same level...

Book 1 was great, but book 2 fell short to me. This one was awesome! I actually think this one was a bit better than book 1. Only slightly. I love the whole possessive alpha male thing...

I love they way this book started... with Valiant and others in a showdown of dominance because the human invaded his territory.. Then he grabs her up and makes her his!!! It was awesome. The whole book was pretty darn good.

I'm a little addicted to this series right now :)

Valiant Valiant Valiant!!! I LOVE him, and I totally loved this book! I'm so hooked on this series right now it's all I'm listening to. I laughed so many times throughout this book it was as though it was a romantic comedy. Valiant's reasoning and his passion for Tammy made this one of my favorites of 2013 for sure. Although I'd consider it within the paranormal genre its just different enough to offer you a change of pace if you're into paranormal romance novels. The narration is really good, and was one of the things I loved the most with this particular book, the voice characterization for Valiant just tickled me to pieces, especially with the lines he had--I was in stitches! Beyond the humor, this series is very endearing and you will LOVE all the characters guaranteed. So far I've not been disappointed greatly and have already moved on to book 4--JUSTICE--he seems to be a delicious piece of work, so I can't wait!

Love the story but Narrator ruined it for me

Where does Valiant rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I give the story/book a 5 rating. i love the story of Valiant and Tammy. I give the narrator a 2 rating.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Valiant?

Toward the end when Tammy is in the cage with 927 and they are rescued by Valiant and Justice. Tammy tries to help 927 by comparing her first school day to his first time being free.

How could the performance have been better?

the narrator did not have any range in her voice. It sounded like she was holding her nose when she was trying to distinguish the different characters. She failed big time with different voices. she made them sound real dorky.

Any additional comments?

I love Laurann Dohner's books and to me when I read them the different New Species are very masculine and proud. The narrator ruined the audible book for me. I think a man narrator would be better for the New Species audible books.

Valliant and Tammy's Love

Valiant is one of the New Species living in the Wild Zone of the Reservation. He has more animal features to look at than a lot of the new species and is Human/Lion mix. Tammy works for a catering company and is on the NSO (New Species Organization) site known as the Reserve for a catering job. Tammy walks by mistake into Valiant's yard a mistake leaving her in terror and fear when the huge man-beast starts to growl and threaten her. He hates humans and will do anything to protect his home, that is until he takes a sniff of Tammy and immediately claims her as his. After a lot of tense moments we realize Valian down't intend to kill or harm her but he does intent to mount her and have sex....

I thoroughly enjoyed how Tammy shows just how strong and perfect she is for Valiant. She proves she is capable of taking care of herself and others! Valiant is another sizzling Hot and Sexy action packed book by Laurann and was perfectly narrated by Vanessa Chambers........

VALIANT - HEAR WHAT MAKES HIM PURRR AND ROAR

Valiant's more beast than human and everyone's frightened by him but when he sees Tammy, who has accidentally found herself in the Wild Zone, he can't wait to get his claws (and other body parts) into her.

This addition to the series has all the expected non-stop action courtesy of the Hunters and an evil Doctor, thrills and chills, but the real magic is in the sizzling HOT chemistry between Valiant and Tammy. He becomes a huge growling alpha male over Tammy which brings out his possessive wild and aggressive side but he's a sweetie with "his Tammy" and she sees his loving, caring, vulnerable side. Thankfully Tammy is a spunky, fun, strong-willed, understanding mate and she knows just how to calm her beast - lots of sex.

There's plenty of hhhot scenes, the usual characters and some new additions which all add to the enjoyment of these exciting stories because you just can't help falling a little bit in love with each of them.

Worth a credit? Well, I've already downloaded every one available from Audible so, of course, I'm going to say a big fat yummy YES and there should be cuddly toys made for each of them because you just want to give them a great big hug.

The storyline was excellent, I being a Thundercat's cartoon junkie and loved the Beauty & The Beast series when it was on really enjoyed the audiobook. However I had no idea the language was as explicit as it was. I had to make a mad dash for the speakers during a love scene. Once due to my daughter playing in the next room and once because I was listening to it on the job while I worked. Steamy is what I would list this story. Yes I would get another book however would hide it like it was a playboy magazine.

Valiant - Gruff, Dominant, More Beast Than Man!

This is a series that just keeps getting better and better!

Valiant who was gruff and did not want to interact with humans fell hard for Tammy and the one thing that kept going through is mind was "mine." He about lost it when she was kidnapped, but when he got her back, it was touching on how he treated her.

Great Series!

This is a book I couldn't put down.I got a little more out of it listening
You can't help but love valiant , under all that animal is a sweet and gentle guy,who really wants to belong
tammy is soft and gentle really good with Valiant.since he needs more understanding than most .Loved the part in the hotel..Well worth buying or the credit
