Description

In this revised and updated third edition of Unbeatable Mind, Mark Divine offers his philosophy and methods for developing maximum potential through integrated warrior development. This work was created through trial and error, proving to thousands of clients that they are capable of 20 times more than what they believe.

The powerful principles for forging deep character, mental toughness, and an elite team provided in this book are the foundation of the Unbeatable Mind "working in" program of Divine's SEALFIT Academies and renowned Kokoro Camp. They are being employed by a growing number of coaches, professors, therapists, doctors, and business professionals worldwide.

Commander Divine is a retired Navy SEAL and human performance expert who works with elite military, sport, and corporate teams, SEAL/SOF candidates, and others seeking to maximize their potential, leading to more balanced success and happiness. The training is leading to breakthroughs in all walks of life and cultivating a robust community of practitioners.

This book will specifically help you develop:

  • Mental clarity - to make better decisions while under pressure.
  • Concentration - to focus on the mission until victory is assured.
  • Awareness - to be more sensitive to your internal and external radar.
  • Leadership authenticity - to be a heart-centered leader and service-oriented teammate.
  • Intuition - to learn to trust your gut and use mental imagery to your advantage.
  • Offensive "sheepdog" mindset - to avoid danger and stay one step ahead of the competition or enemy.
  • Warrior spirit - to deepen your willpower, intention, and connection with your spiritual self.

Strong book terrible narrator

I wish the author would have read it himself. The betray or sounded like a robot and it was very distracting. It took away from the book and message

GREAT BOOK. HORRIBLE READER

Any additional comments?

This book is totally inspiring. The narrator that is reading it talks like a robot with absolutely no normal inflection or human emotion, turning something that could be awesomely inspiring into an annoying snoozefest. Almost unlistenable.

Decent book, horrible narration

It was listening to a computer read you the book. Terrible experience, despite the underlying content being good.

PLEASE HIRE A VOICE ACTOR

I've tried 3 times to listen to this, but I just can't get through it. The read is horrendous.

There are a number of mispronounced words, for example Ensign, which is a rank in the Navy, and he sounds like he's saying enzyme.

He sounds like he's reading from the book. Which he's is, but he's not supposed to sound like it.

I loved Way Of The Seal. It had great information and was performed very well.

This just makes it near impossible to listen to CDR Divine's guidance and skills. Very, very unfortunate.

New narrator please

One of my most highly recommended books on personal and leadership development is distracted by mispronounced words and at times very odd pace, pitch, and modulation. Navy ranks are mispronounced. On plus side it provides mental focus training by forcing listener to ignore narrator while hearing message of author.

Robot

If you've ever wanted your GPS to read you a book, then this is the one for you. Book cannot even be listened to with this narrator.

Don’t do this to yourself

Clearly this narrator is still learning to read. Its one of the worst narrations I’ve ever heard. Unbearable.

Great book! But buy the paperback- the reader is terrible

I really enjoy the insight in the writing- the specific tools provided and the history. However, I can't seem to get done because the reader sounds like a Canadian robot . It's really difficult to listen to. Breaks and strong pauses after every word .. Really takes away from the content. The book is strong and rugged, the reader should mirror.

Good Read....

Narrarators pronunciation of certain words were strange but all in all not bad. The book gave me several different things to work my thoughts around and go about situations differently.

Awesome

I highly recommend this book. Honestly I've read quite a bit of self help books over the years. Commander Divines program is the only one that I would say takes a completely holistic approach and the only one that I have been able to implement and see rapid results from. If you think you are capable of performing at a higher level in area of your life but just aren't sure how to get there buy this book.

exceptional book, horrible audio book

This is probably the most comprehensive collection on self improvement and mental toughness I have seen to date. It is also concise, while placing just the right little amount of repetition throughout to not be too hard to swallow. Heavy on great secondary literature references, too.

The audio book, however, is horrendous. If there has ever been a punchable voice, it's this narrator. He talks like an online scammer/used car salesman sleazeball and just rattles through the stuff as if he was in a hurry. As the information is often concise and structured in lists, this guy's utter lack of narrational craftsmanship makes it really hard to follow.

The book does, occasionally, reference/advertise the author's other works, but in relation to the massive amount of comprehensive content and orientation the book provides, this is negligible. combined with this narrator, however, these passages become infuriating.

To make matters worse, the audio book has no selectable table of contents to navigate - only large chunks for bigger chapters. And the chapter numbers don't even correlate to the ones in the book! I have seen the original table in the book preview on amazon - it's VERY neat. and there's nothing of that here.

the abysmal adaptation almost overshadows an amazing book. I'll buy the printed version - and I suggest you do that right away.

whoever commited this atrocity should look at jocko willink's extreme ownership audio book to see how all of this is supposed to look like.

Absoluter Wahnsinn

* viele Kollegen fanden hier Anregungen
* ich mag es einfach gar nicht...

....weil,
