    I don’t even know how to express how much this audiobook meant to me. It healed something in me to listen to the journey of the MCs. I became a fan of Nicky James. Her writing is beautiful, full of emotional intelligence, psychology and mental health rep handled with care. I am sure she is a beautiful person, her writing shows it. Adam Gold did an outstanding performance. It felt like there were two narrators ! I sincerely thanks everyone that made this audiobook a reality. ❤️

    I loved this book at first. I haven't listened to any of the serie, and chose this one because it's relatable for me and i was really into it and enjoying my book until the first spicy scene unfurled. And holy hell what the... So MC1 is extremely triggered and deep in trauma response/anxiety attack because of MC2 arousal and MC2 decided the adequate response is to j*rk off and repeat him he should watch and acknowledge it?! The rest of the book is about how important boundaries (And consent!) are for MC1, who keeps repeating to MC2 intimacy would probably never be something he's ready for?!

    I mean if this book had a SA trigger warning i wouldn't have paid for it. But it's just absolutely uncalled for and without any warning whatsoever.

    If this book has been recommended to you because you struggle with touch (Phobia, PTSD or other reason, it doesn't matter.), please be warned this book could be triggering, and take care of yourself.
