Discover the truth on tithing the way the New Testament teaches it.

The vital truth is that a countless number of Christians tithe, but are not convinced about the practice. They just follow the tradition of the church without a sound biblical understanding of the subject of tithing.

Christendom, at large, is divided on tithing.

There is a section of Christians who sincerely believe tithing is too legalistic and must be limited to the dispensation of the law, while others believe that the practice is still relevant, and through tithing, they can be part of what God is doing in the world today.

The main reason for these sentiments is that, in most of our teachings on tithing, we hardly touch on the Melchizedek order, which serves as a guide to the practice - and whereby faith, we consecrate our tithes to Christ - the great and true Melchizedek, as an act of worship. We rather explain the practice and persuade Christians to tithe, using scriptures that are relative only to the system of tithing under the law. This creates confusion, misunderstanding, and apathy on the part of some Christians who believe that they are not under the Law but grace.

In Tithing Is for Today, Peter Collins Obeng shares insights from the word of God that bring understanding and clarity for God's people to discover the truth on tithing - the way the New Testament teaches it.
