Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Description
A Sabbat Worlds novel.
When the vital forge world of Orestes comes under attack by a legion of Chaos Titans, the planet is forced to appeal for help. The Titans of Legio Invicta respond, committing their own force of war engines to the battle.
Listen to it because....
It's a vision of total war in the 41st millennium, from the smallest soldier to the largest God-Machine.
The story:
When the vital forge world of Orestes comes under attack by a legion of Chaos Titans, the planet is forced to appeal for help. The Titans of Legio Invicta, although fresh from combat and in desperate need of refit and repair, respond, committing their own force of war engines to the battle. As the god-machines stride to war, the world trembles, for the devastation they unleash could destroy the very world they have pledged to save.
Written by Dan Abnett. Narrated by Toby Longworth. Run time 13 hours and 39 minutes

Climax fell flat - but a great ride
Compelling story, greatly enjoyed it - a really great ride but weak ending in my opinion.
Lots of character building, not disappointed in the titan battles either.
There were a few different story arcs going on, and although they did come together - the finale left me wanting in regards to titan battles.

probably the worst DA books I've read so far
I like to listen to warhammer books and this is probably the worst one that I have listened to so far, it just feels like there was too much trying to be coveted too quickly and the descriptions of each faction were so vague it was hard to tell what was going on

A bit slow in the first half, but worth the wait.
Titanicus is, at risk of sounding cliche, titanic. It is a long book, and takes a good bit of time to get going. Still, it is a fantastic story, and the performance of the narrator is fantastic.

Good story lacking focus
Great narration, however the book has way too many unrememrable characters adding to the weak focus on the main story. A shorter book with less side stories would have greatly benefited the overall narrative.

Impeccably written
Lord Gerhart is one of the best characters written into the Warhammer 40k universe. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and will revisit it with my sons.
