Originally written and performed for a radio program, the Ticklepot episodes are hugely entertaining 10-minute stories featuring the fun-filled adventures of Monkey and Peter. They're ideal for kids in the car or in bed at night. The stories are written specifically to include popular songs by kids entertainer Peter Combe.

The radio play of Ticklepot was awarded a Gold Medal for Best Children's Radio Program in the World in New York in 1989, and bronze medals 1990 and 1991. It was also awarded an International Award for Literacy. Peter Combe received three Australian Recording Industry Association awards for Best Children's Album.
