    What a joy! I’ve always liked Miriam when I saw her on the internet, in talk show interviews and little excerpts. But this really made me love her. She’s so sweet, funny and wise. I will definitely go watch some of her plays and films, and mostly her documentaries.
    I felt like I was listening to a friend, a wonderful time.

    This is such a good book! Miriam Margolyes grabs your attention and has you laughing out loud with her many, often outrageous, tales. She is a brilliant, naughty and sometimes gossipy storyteller with a life worth recounting. Her narration is excellent, as you would expect! I loved every moment.

    ..because this audiobook delighted me and kept me listening for two days virtually non-stop. I felt sad to finish it. I certainly don't agree with everything she says but her way of saying it is strong, vivid and often funny. Her style of writing too, is delightful and her voice is captivating. I'll listen to this again whenever I need to be engrossed by something utterly different from my own life.
