This book is so short it shouldn't be called a book at all. This is all covered in YouTube by Win Hof himself. So do not waste a credit or money on this.

legit?

Lots of science being thrown around, I'm interested in seeing if this is legit or if it's a place of effect. I will start incorporating cold showers though, seems harmless enough.

Interactive and interesting

I loved hearing this breathing and ice bath tale -

The story of Wim was sad and intense and the technical aspects of it seem to have tremendous positive effects... Now the hard question is how do I start that training. Self discipline is often difficult for me and without a local group I'm not sure I will stick to it or remember when it counts

Wenig hilfreich für die Anwendung

Das Buch beschränkt sich leider ziemlich stark auf die vielseitigen Nutzen der Technik anstatt den Hörer/Leser mit der genauen Atemtechnik bzw. Kältetraining vertraut zu machen. Daher wirkt es eher wie eine ausgedehnte Werbung für die Kurse. Wim Hof ist sehr inspirierend, das Buch ist leider enttäuschend ausgefallen.

Nur ein Überblick

Das Buch nennt die Entstehungsgeschichte zu Wims Weg und der Methode und streift nur am Rande und sehr überblicksorientiert die Methode selbst. Es werden außerdem gesundheitliche Vorteile genannt.

Ice Ice Baby

Great overview over Wim Hof as a person and his "method". The reading is done well also. I was no stranger to the man and his cold exposure techniques, but still learned some things from this book. Recommended for everyone.
