As a U.S. Marine Infantry Rifleman, the Sgt was called on to serve 3 tours in Iraq in 2003, 2004, & 2005 including the very 1st day of the War in March 2003. This is the story of a kid from Orlando who joined the Marines at 18 years old and went on to turn 19, 20, and 21 in the throes of the Iraq War during its first 3 years. Ending with the Sgt's tales of struggle with PTSD, this a memoir that relates to an entire generation of Warfighters in America.
