I loved the commentary after the book as much as the book. I had actually already read the Veil, but when I saw there was an audio version, while I was buying Profound God, I downloaded it. Both books are truly life changing. I love how down to earth and relatable Blake is in his writing style. I love the stories he shared. I love that I now know what is possible with God because of this book!! Buy both books! They will blow your mind too, I promise!

Revelation and truth

Amazing book! This confirmed so many things that I have already known to be true. The insight this book brings to the spiritual world we live in is unlike anything I have ever read. Thank you so much for writing this book! It has grown my faith and my heart for understanding the love Father God has for me.

Truly original - you shouldn't miss this one

Would you listen to The Veil again? Why?

Yes, and that's unusual for me as I have a voracious appetite for new audio content.

Who was your favorite character and why?

If you've ever seen the original Ghostbusters movie and recall the see-through green creatures munching on things, then this is what I think was being described by the author in some coffee shop.

What does Blake K. Healy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The book itself was excellent, but the hours-long radio-show-like commentary after the book was even better. I think the commentary part is exclusive to the audiobook and it involves three or four friends, including the author.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was extremely pleased to have found a title which really stands out from the abundant, mushy, lookalike crowd out there in this category.

Any additional comments?

I believe that this title will become a thought-leader for its category soon. It deserves it. The ebook is currently available to Kindle Unlimited customers for free, so if you're on the fence and belong to KU, then check it out that way, but the author's own reading is great. Again, the post-book commentary is something not to miss, so, if you can afford it, just go for the audiobook. To the author: GREAT JOB!

Great Book

I enjoyed Healy's personally shared journey into seeing in the spirit. A very good friend to me had this gift, and so can compare his testimony with my friend's, and so recognize the truthfulness to this gift. May this book inspire your heart to abide nearer to the Father, as it encouraged me to live for eternal things.

NOT another stuffy Christian book...

I loved that I laughed aloud numerous times at the delivery of some rather unexpected content. Really helped me view God in a much more multi-faceted light. An angel with a bazooka: need I say more!?!

Transparent, humble and honoring of God

Wow!!! This book has brought me closer to how intricately God loves us. Intricate because of His sovereignty and nature, and because of the author’s transparent honesty in navigating his journey.
I loved this book and recommend it to everyone with an ear to hear.

intresting subject but not captivating

Would you try another book from Blake K. Healy and/or Blake K. Healy?

hum. cant say absolutely but things have got to change.

What could Blake K. Healy have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The subject, once again I'll say is of great interest to me but the story itself couldn't keep my attention. listening was difficult and I found myself agitated and pulling out my headphones often.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

he was breathy.....just not easy to listen to. a bit monotone. he tried to animate and I appreciated that, but it just wasn't enough.

What character would you cut from The Veil?

I don't know.....couldn't finish listening to it.

Absolutely loved it!

Great narration (the author) and story. You can tell Blake spent a LOT of time thinking about how to present his life's story and the gift that he has. Whether you are someone familiar with seeing in the Spirit or not, this is a wonderful and engaging book to read or listen to. It's quite eye opening!

Perspective shift

I really enjoyed this books so much. Mr. Healy confirmed so much in my own walk with God, that I thought was maybe not normal. Yet, several experiences he had, just really confirmed what the Holy Spirit was teaching me. There is so much we don't know and God wants us to ask those questions so He can walk us through them and build confidence in our identity and in Him.
