The small town of Haven is nestled by a mountain with a breathtaking lake and lush thick forest. One of the citizens is content with her solitary life. Jessie Hale is many things a nurse, a daughter, a sister and an aunt. Her life is uprooted in one tragic death bringing Parker Barnes-Kane into her life.
