Throughout the ages, Satan has tried to thwart the Divine Redemptive Plan of God with an ultimate conspiracy, which began when Satan convinced Eve, the wife of Adam, to disobey God’s command not to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge in the midst of the Garden of Eden.
According to the command of God, this act of deception by Diablo, and act of disobedience by the man and woman recorded in Genesis 3:3, was the earliest expression of human self-interest. This account is followed by a series of encounters that record similar events with many individuals in biblical and church history.
