Princess Princella does not like to get her hair done because she is so tenderheaded. When the handmaidens come to wash and comb her hair, she hides under her covers.
When they find her, they form a circle and sing a song to help her hair detangle and grow, and grow, and grow. They pat her hair dry with their hands and royal towels, rub and massage her scalp with special ointments, part her hair into sections and begin to braid her hair. Slowly, she closes her eyes and falls tenderly asleep.
