A frosty December, Bethan Griffiths has returned home for Christmas to unwrap secrets. It's the 1970s and she is back in the village of Foel in the Welsh hills to raise her daughter. I've loved every book I've read from Clare Ashton so far, and this one is no exception. Lucy Rayner only added to it, giving it more substance.
This is a mystery, with twists, and well written characters. I found myself being amused, angry, or so sad about what was happening... truly an amazing story.
