This book never set out to solve a mystery.
What began as a chance encounter at a Mardi Gras party slowly unfolded into something quieter, deeper, and far more human. Through laughter, curiosity, imagination, and second-guessing, the story became less about who someone might have been and more about why we feel compelled to fill in the blanks of other people’s lives.
