The narrator/reader did a great job here. The story is riveting and well-written. Overall, I really enjoyed listening to it.
I see some woke people in the comment section were bothered by the rape scene and the use of the N word to refer to Mrs. Robin Wednesbury. Those were different times and judging authors from the past with eyes from 2022 is not only unfair, it is also illiberal and intellectually bankrupt. Virtue-signaling has no place here.
