Vulnerable
I didn’t know how Danette could possibly have more to share about her story. She’s always so open. Yet in this book she is still able to share more of herself and her rise. While allowing the listener to reflect and step into her own self and her rise.

I thought I would like this
I love Danette May, but unfortunately I did not enjoy this book. It felt like a space to vent more than grow. Something about it just left me feeling that I could have spent my time more wisely.

The Rise
Good book. It grabbed my attention and gave me food for thought., However, it references the recourses section for more information; which couldn’t be found. That’s terrible! I wanted to take a look. Hugely disappointed!

I would recommend this book!
I think anyone could benefit from this book but especially those feeling stuck. It’s very inspirational how Danette May was able to move forward so successfully after such a huge tragedy and obstacles. I’m not sure how I feel about the “new age” stuff towards the end. I could’ve done without it but I try to keep an open mind. Overall this book keeps you interested and conveys a wonderful message. I would buy other books by Danette May and I subscribe to her YouTube channel, it’s has great information and exercises.

Touching story
It’s a touching story and it’s definitely hard to talk about such reality.
Did it help me find some answers? It made me confirm I must listen to the voices inside and follow the path I’m on. It strengthened the belief that messages flow to us and we should take them seriously.. carry on..
