John is a down-on-his-luck 35-year-old who has been languishing from a series of injuries, coupled with the unrelenting demands of an ailing father. Not only is the situation threatening to derail his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Maggie, but it is also erasing any trace of adventure this man once held.
When an old riding buddy, Dan, learns that John still has one of his motorcycles, he tries to convince his friend to take an extended trip. Against his growing inertia and better judgment, John reluctantly agrees.
