Some beneficial points
As with anything in life it all depends on what that individual person is looking for at the time. Overall I thought it was pretty good there were somethings that I really couldn't get into and there are some key points that I would definitely use and apply to my life.

Dan is still the man
For 30 years, whenever I need a spiritual tune up… I read something written by Dan Millman. He helped me through the jungles of the South Pacific as a Peace Corps volunteer, and he is helping me today in my twilight years as a high school teacher, coach, and father. I love that I can now listen to his teaching on long, contemplative walks with my faithful companion Mocha… the House Rules never change, I just need a refresher from time to time… thanks Dan… you’re still The Man!!

i feel lectured to not enlighten.
For Spiritual amateurs. I started to feel creeped out instead of encouraged by his voice. Struggle to finish it. Just wanted to get through it. Hoping to find a new nugget of truth. Baby food in a 13 course meal.
