Cameron is running from his life. Nadia is trapped in hers. A chance encounter will change everything.
Feeling trapped in the prison he calls his life, Cameron makes the impulsive decision - with the help of liquid courage - to quit his stable job in New York City and run away for a month to find himself. His plan brings him to Cape Verde, a beautiful island, the beauty of which stuns him almost as much as it brings him peace.
Cameron only plans to stay for the month, just long enough to decide what to do next. Never did he think he'd fall in love.
Nadia has always dreamt of escaping the island that's held her prisoner for so long, but after years of being trapped in the same dead-end job and limited funds to change her situation, she sees no way out. Working all day leaves no time for romance, until Cameron walks into her life, and everything suddenly changes.
Nadia and Cameron find an escape in each other, but with the month ticking down, their love is put to the test. Can their love weather the storm?
