overall the book was good, well written and held my interest all the way through. However, the narratorobviously had no knowledge of the military or of Northern Ireland and made some shocking pronunciation mistakes such as spelling out "N, double A,F,I" for the NAAFI. Worse than this was the attempts made at regional accents which were terrible and these just made some of the conversations in the book confusing.

Interesting insight to the unit in the 80s.
