Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Wonderful
So happy to have read this book, which present a simple a very effective way in getting to high places in our life. The key lesson is to thing big and walk though the path one step at the time. It’s also very important to mention here that in order to achieve extraordinary results in our lives, we need to take extraordinary action. In this book that extraordinary action is ignoring all the noise around us and going for the one thing, that one thing that by doing, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary.

Good ideas, but.. production poor.
What made the experience of listening to The ONE Thing the most enjoyable?
The narration sounded like he was trying to 'act' his way through an informational book. His intentions were clear; he wants to entertain us, but it detracted from the text, and ultimately annoyed me.
What did you like best about this story?
Simple ideas are usually the best ones.
How could the performance have been better?
Don't separate chapters with music. It's the same musical interlude 24 times. Please don't.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. The book contains valuable wisdom, but the production (narrator, music) annoyed me so much that I had to listen in stages.
Any additional comments?
Any audio book that includes graphics, graphs, figures etc, should come with a warning in the description. I've returned books before simply because I want to learn while listening, and would have bought the hard copy book if I need reference materials. "In figure nine, you'll see a blah blah blah..." This drives me crazy because, no, I DON'T see it.

More than it seems
A lot of people rad recommended this book but I put of getting it for a long time because I assumed the whole idea could be summed up in one sentence. “Do one thing at a time for better focus and success”. That is way to vague to do this book justice. Full of useful gems of information. A must read for anyone running a business or just wanting to be more effective in general.

it's going to pay back
nowadays many people tend to distract themself due to many reasons. I tend to distract myself with watching videos on YouTube or through social media. I often compare myself to all the stories, achievements, businesses and pictures out there, losing the focus for what really matters. this book gave me some insights, that helped me in the last months to better that.
It also gave me clarity about these things called life purpose, happiness, productivity and priority. all these values can cause a lot of confusion, even though you think you are on the right path.
I recommend this book. especially for personal development enthusiasts and people who run their own business or schedule their own day.

Very true especially for entrepreneurs
This book really gave me insights about how multitasking and not being focused on one real thing is rather hurtful than helping. It provides really good insights and practical advice especially for start ups and miniatures.

not so helpful
I felt this book was more like a shouting motivational video on YouTube. the author gave some hard opinion without properly engaging the reader/listener. this gave no time to think and bring your own points.

Great Idea, boring Audiobook
Keller’s indisputuble great idea of “The One Thing” unluckily gets lost in this Audiobook.
The narrative contains stories and wisdom hundred times heard.

Banale Thesis
