Description
Mickey Haller is a Lincoln lawyer--a criminal defence attorney who operates out of the back of his car, a Lincoln, taking whatever cases the system throws in his path. He's been in the business a long time, and he knows just how to work it.
When a Beverly Hills rich boy is arrested for brutally beating a woman, Haller has his first high-paying client in years. The evidence mounts on the defence's side, and Haller might even be in the rare position of defending a client who is actually innocent. But then the case starts to fall apart, neither the suspect nor the victim are quite who they seem--and Haller quickly discovers that when you swim with the sharks, it's easy to wind up as prey.

Cracking yarn!
Really good story. Compelling story telling. Twists and turns in plot keeps interest. Characters are all very believable.

Great if it wasn't for the music
Love the story and narration, the only thing that turned me of was the music at the end and beginning of a new chapter. They could've left that out. otherwise highly enjoyed this audiobook.

What is up with the music?!
Very good story and narration. Downloaded it because of the Netflix series and loved both. But the music at the end of each chapter is very distracting. Actually struggled to hear the narration when the music played.

Fantastic
I recently watched the series on Netflix, and loved it so much that I decided to check out the book. The stories are completely different, but both are great! I'll certainly listen to the sequel, too.
