The inquest verdict was of misadventure, but it isn't long before Smith begins to suspect there has been a serious miscarriage of justice.

I have now read all DC smith novels and apart from the one where he goes to Ireland, enjoyed all of them - some better than others but I love the characters and the dialogue- sometimes there are lengthy bits but oh well. Also I must congratulate Peter Grainger on his choice of narrator - hope he won’t change, look forward to the next one
