Writing poetry on the wallpaper in his room as a form of therapy, taking long walks, and even sleeping naked in the garden, we journey with this poet in metaphor and subconscious rhythms in a mysterious residence of beauty, while something dangerous and unstable lurks in the world outside. We are able to relate to this space of wanting harmony, loneliness, and uncertainty.
Captivating in it's poetic style, Calloway is profound with his novella in his minimalist approach. Multicolored with intrigue and romance, our poet paints with great amounts of affection. Just as some guests of The Grand never want to leave, you may find yourself feeling the same.
