The Keeper of Seasons is a new collection of poetry that reflects the rugged yet poetic landscapes of the Maine coast, a place where sea meets land in an eternal embrace. With each verse, we venture into the lives of the people who call this edge of the world their home—be it the fisherman who navigates both calm and stormy seas, the lighthouse keeper who serves as a guardian against the treacherous rocks, or the tavern keeper who offers a warm hearth and a cold drink to weary sailors.
The purpose is to go beyond mere depiction, diving into the essence of these coastal lives that are as complex as they are connected to the natural world. Each poem is an odyssey in itself, capturing moments that are both universal and intimately specific.
