À propos de ce contenu audio

The Incest Factor is more than just my story. It holds up a mirror to the deeply ingrained, unspoken, and powerful habits, beliefs, and moral taboos passed down for generations. These patterns don’t just define us—they also hold us back. They keep us locked in a mindset that limits our ability to grow, whether financially, sexually, or spiritually. I lived within those boundaries for far too long, mistaking them for safety, love, and the definition of being a good daughter and a decent woman. But as Maya Angelou once said, “When you know better, you do better.” This realization became a turning point in my life. I began to see that the walls I had accepted as tradition and safety were actually barriers keeping me from living fully and freely. The very taboos, habits, and beliefs I had clung to as symbols of my identity were, in reality, keeping me small, silent, and afraid. Breaking free wasn’t easy. I had to unlearn everything I once believed about my identity and what I thought I deserved. It forced me to question the rules I had never agreed to but somehow still followed. More than anything, it pushed me to choose love—love for the truth, love for myself, and love for the life I knew I was meant to live—over fear.
Though difficult to hear, The Incest Factor is a must-listen. Yes, it’s my story, but it’s also yours. It is for every woman who has ever felt the weight of expectation and the sting of betrayal, both young and old. It is dedicated to all women who are ready to move from surviving to thriving.
