Good story, narrating was too monotonous
It was hard to stick to end. Even if the narrator did convey the characters, I miss Jessie Berenstein's narration of the series.

I have a solution to the narrator problem!
Stop listening for about 3months or until you
Forget the original narrator’s voice
And listen to it.
it’s pretty good!
But,you might think that the original narrator’s voice weird.

Compared to Joshua Swansons narration this really doesn't meet the standard in depicting the characters etc.

Rick riodan did it again
After percy Jackson I didn't think I'd find another series that could top it but then I found heroes of olympus and the entire series is very much worth the read and hours it takes

Excruciatingly boring!
House of Hades lacks the the flavour and the tension previous books of the series offered. Add that to the poorly performed narration, you have an excruciatingly boring audiobook.

Narrators confusing
Our family listen to all the Rick Riordan books and love the story line. Jesse Bernstein made all the characters come alive and was easy to listen to.
Joshua Swanson did okey, but got some of the character names wrong and mixed some voices up.
Nick Chamian is extremely difficult to listen to. Uneasy voice and ends most of the sentences on a high tone. Regret buying the book.

Great book
As always, i love Ricks books, but i feel the narrator could have done a better job. The book itself is really good, it holds your attention the whole time. I still think they should get a bunch of people and have them all read for one character (percy, annabeth, piper.....)

Super Hörbuch - nicht weniger als ich nach den ersten teilen erwartet hatte !
Einfach eine super Geschichte! Rick riordan schafft es jedes Mal die Geschichte um noch ein paar fazetten reichen zu gestalten, ohnedies die Geschichte langweilig wird.

Tolles Buch, aber das Hörbuch ist grausam
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Der Erzähler ließt viel zu langsam. Das wäre bei Dialogen ja kein Problem, aber wenn jeder Satz 2 Minuten braucht bis er mal vorgelesen ist kommt man auch nicht voran. Ich hatte mich ja erst gewundert warum das Hörbuch 17 Stunden lang ist, bei einem so kurzen Buch. Jetzt weiß ich es. Es hört sich an als würde der Erzähler einen Text simultan übersetzten. Dicke Pause nach jedem Wort -_- Dabei hätte ich es so gerne auch gehört. Aber so ist das einfach eine Qual. Da kann ich auch nem Gletscher beim schmelzen zuschauen

tolles Hörbuch
das Hörbuch hat mir sehr gut gefallen. der Sprecher schafft es die Figuren individuell zu beleben und hat eine sehr angenehme Stimme zum Zuhören

Geschwindigkeit hochsetzen
Oft wird hier die Geschwindigkeit des Sprechers bemängelt. Und das ist zunächst auch richtig. Die Lösung ist aber recht einfach: man kann die Geschwindigkeit hochsetzen. Eine Einstellung von 1,2 hat bei mir gut funktioniert und damit fand ich den neuen Sprecher sogar besser als den alten.
