Sixteen-year-old Alexandra Wallace's life is shattered when her family faces a difficult decision. What do you do when you're suddenly uprooted from your comfortable life in an upscale Boston suburb and relocated to what your sophisticated East-coast friends refer to jeeringly as "Flyover Country?"
When her parents break the news, Lexy does not take it well. She and BFF Georgia Stewart spend hours on the phone, proposing an unlikely solution.
But what would make the move more palatable? Driver's Ed? A horse? New family friends with teenage sons?
Lexy's dad has his career, but what of Marie Wallace, Lex'y mother? How does the move impact her?
