More star trek books please
I am a big fan of the star trek series and especially Christopher Bennet. My only criticism is that many of his books are only available in German. I would love to see the Titan series and Birth of the Federation series available on audible in English.

Propaganda
The story sounds like the author wanted to drive home the point about exterior forces being good or evil under the guise of racism, or xenophobia in this case. These "spirits" are inhabiting federation citizens and if they apologize for it, then its o.k. Why was it o.k. for the Aenar to consciously accept their "spirits" but not the Naj? Starfleet and the enterprise crew were the backdrop of this story that was told to us. We weren't shown. It felt like a political speech where a side is drawn and an "other" defined. If the Naj were truly as old as the story indicates then why not wait for the Federation to leave, then exact revenge? I doubt I will listen to another book from Mr. Bennett. This one is being returned.

Bizzare overly political nightmare.
This story is a cross between unsubtle preaching about modern ethics and a Scientology rip-off. The narrator is positively excellent though.

Virtue signaling crap
I love Trek. This is garbage that caters to the headline-reading simpletons who believe a racist is hiding behind every blade of grass.

Preachy, but Greed Okay
This thing is so stunningly socially preachy that it is a little hard to see the story through the fog of political correctness. And then there is an excuse for greed as being okay and not in any way to blame for xenophobic behavior as to completely negate the moral high ground this guy pictures himself on. In fact, without that part of things, it really isn’t even a story. There are so many who can actually write Star Trek. Why hire “journalists” to fake it? Disgusting.

Why won't they make a movie like this?
I started watching Star Trek the Original Series, when I was 10 years old. The thing I really enjoy about this writer is the way he brings up so many events, from the original series, and the way he describes the characters. He does such a good job, that I can actually see their expressions in my mind. I also love the way he brought in so many story threads , from the original series, and brought many of them to a conclusion. To be honest, the one thing I didn't like about the book, is that the story jumped around so much, from year to year, ship-to-ship, back and forth. it's a good format, but less of it, in this book, would have been better.

Slow to develop but satisfying in the end
Another strong performance by Robert Petkoff. The story develops slowly and the eventual action is interesting, if not captivating. Character development and conceptual issues dominate this narrative. I’m a Trekkie and enjoy the original characters. This was enough for me.

The plot unravels over many layers
This is a very interesting book connecting the present with events like Vige from movie number one and the eaner from Star Trek Enterprise. Robert Petkoff is unbelievably good at imitating the voices of the cast from the original series. I will buy more books narrated by him.

Loved it
I loved the idea of the book but I was not happy with the retcon king of the two Star Trek the original series episodes. Giving human telepathy because of a symbiont was weird.
